Effect of Simulated AI Safety Recommendations on Voluntary Email Verification

The proposed study examines whether a scripted AI-style safety recommendation changes how often people choose to reveal sender or link-destination details before making a decision about a fictional email.

The research task will use fictional messages in a controlled interface. It will not access participants' real email accounts or activate actual email links. More information will be provided through approved participant materials when the study is authorized to open.
